وزير الزراعة يؤكد ان خطط الوزارة بمنع استيراد التمور وفرت 150 مليار دينار لخزينة الدولة وعودة الفلاحين الى بساتينهم التي هجرت سابقا

فضلا عن تشجيع الصناعات التحويلية من خلال منح اجازات انشاء معامل متخصصة لمادة الدبس والاستفادة من المواد السليلوزية في العديد من الصناعات الاخرى والتي توفرها النخلة .

لافتا الى ان الوزارة قد انشات مركزا بحثيا متخصصا في مجال تطوير قطاع التمور ضمن دائرة البستنة ورفده بالكفاءات العلمية المتخصصة لاعتماد طرق انتاجية وبستنية ومنها الزراعة النسيجية والاهتمام بمحطات النخيل المنتشرة في مختلف المحافظات والتي من مهامها الحفاظ على الاصناف النادرة والجيدة من التمور العراقية المعروفة بجودتها .

و شدد الحسني على ان الوزارة مستمرة باعتماد الطرق العلمية لرعاية البساتين وانشاء اخرى جديدة وتقديم كافة الخدمات لاصحاب البساتين من خلال دوائرها الزراعية وحسب ما معمول به في الدول المتقدمة زراعيا بضمنها وقاية المزروعات ، وان الوزارة هدفها دعم المنتج المحلي وحماية المستهلك وانتاج مواد غذائية صحية.

وان العمل الدؤوب للوزارة يهدف الى دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتشغيل الايدي العاملة من خلال منع  استيراد (16) محصولا زراعيا اضافة الى الدجاج والبيض والاسماك .

Minister of Agriculture confirms that the ministry`s plans to prevent the import of dates have provided 150 billion dinars to the state treasury and the return of farmers to their orchards, which were previously abandoned

Minister of Agriculture Dr. Saleh Al-Hassani said that the effective plans taken by the Ministry to prevent the import of dates and granting approvals for the establishment of molasses plants led to the advancement of this vital sector and the return of farmers to their orchards that had previously been abandoned and the provision of large amounts of the state budget amounted to (150) billion dinars, and the price reached One ton of dates to (650000) dinars in order to achieve economic feasibility suitable for the owners of orchards, as well as encourage manufacturing industries through the granting of licenses to establish specialized factories for molasses and the use of cellulosic materials in many other industries, which are provided by the Palm

He pointed out that the Ministry has established a specialized research center in the field of developing the date sector within the Department of Horticulture and provide it with specialized scientific competencies to adopt productive and horticultural methods, including textile farming and attention to palm plants scattered in various provinces, which is one of its tasks to maintain rare and good varieties of Iraqi dates known for quality

Al-Hassani stressed that the Ministry continues to adopt scientific methods for the care of orchards and the establishment of new ones and provide all services to the owners of orchards through its agricultural departments and according to what is applicable in agricultural developed countries, including the protection of crops, and that the Ministry aims to support the local product and consumer protection and the production of healthy food

The Ministry`s hard work aims to support the national economy and the employment of labor by preventing the import of 16 agricultural crops in addition to chickens, eggs and fish
