واستناداً إلى كتاب مجلس الوزراء لجنة الشؤون الاقتصادية المتضمن تخويل السيد وزير الزراعة صلاحية فتح ومنع الاستيراد في ضوء وفرة وشحة المنتج المحلي، حصلت الموافقة على منع استيراد محصول الرمان من كافة المنافذ الحدودية إعتباراً من الرابع عشر لشهر تشرين الثاني الحالي، فضلاً عن منح مدة (10ايام ) بعد اصدار كتاب المنع للمستوردين الحاصلين على موافقة مسبقة والذين قاموا بإدخال جزءاً من الإرسالية وذلك لمنحهم الوقت الكافي لاستكمال ما تبقى منه.  

 يذكر إن وزارة الزراعة كانت قد منعت في وقت سابق استيراد (16) محصول زراعي اضافة الى الدجاج والبيض والاسماك لوفرتها في الاسواق المحلية دعما للفلاحين والمزارعين وللنهوض بالاقتصاد الوطني.

The Ministry of Agriculture prevents the importation of pomegranate for its abundance locally

The Ministry of Agriculture announced the prevention of the import of pomegranate crop from all the border outlets, in light of the abundance and scarcity of the local product in the markets and protection

According to the Council of Ministers` letter to the Economic Affairs Committee, which authorizes the Minister of Agriculture to open and prevent imports in light of the abundance and scarcity of the local product, the approval was obtained to prevent the import of pomegranate crop from all border ports as of November 14th, in addition to granting a period of (10 days) after issuance of the letter of prevention to importers who have prior approval and who have entered part of the consignment in order to give them sufficient time to complete the rest of it

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Agriculture had earlier prevented the import of (16) agricultural crops in addition to chicken, eggs and fish for abundance in local markets in support of farmers and peasants and to promote the national economy
